Q: What’s the difference between the regular stretch sessions and Stretch & Strength?
A: The Kickstarter and The Lunch Break place an emphasis on stretching for flexibility, joint mobility, posture alignment, boosting energy and circulation. In Stretch & Strength, we add strength training to our stretch regimen. This is to provide the proper balance of strength and mobility your body deserves!
Q: What if I’m not flexible?
A: Ah, yes, I’ve heard this one many times. Flexibility is NOT a requirement! All classes are open-level, and I will provide necessary modifications for more advanced stretches.
Q: Do I need any equipment?
A: Just a good attitude! ;) You don’t need any special equipment for these classes, although I would recommend working on a soft surface such as a yoga mat or carpet/rug for a little extra comfort.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Dress comfortably in clothing that allows you to move easily. Stretching barefoot or in socks is also ideal.
Q: How much space do I need?
A: As long as you have enough space to lay down on the floor, you’re all set!
Q: What do I need to do to prepare for class?
A: Since classes are virtual and well, life happens, I recommend logging on 5 minutes in advance to make sure your sound works and you’re settled and ready to go.
Q: Do I need prior experience?
A: Not at all. All the more reason to join! Come as you are!
Q: What if I have an injury?
A: First and foremost, if you are injured, be sure to get clearance from your doctor before participating in any form of physical activity. If your doctor gives you the green light, awesome! Do not hesitate to reach out to me ahead of class regarding any injuries or other physical limitations, and I will be more than happy to accomodate.
Q: Do I have to take class with my camera on?
A: Keeping your camera on is optional, but encouraged. Why? Because I can give you corrections and compliments! However, I realize taking class from home is private and personal, and I respect your privacy. Totally your choice- just know I’m happy to have you in class either way!
